A little about our Seminars

I'm sure everyone has a different idea of what to expect at a car care seminar or clinic. At our seminars it's really not a Do-It-Yourselfers type of class. While you may get your hands a little dirty, that's only from being able to touch and examine some of the many of 100's of props and parts that we have on display. These parts go along with the type of class we present. We focus on information.

We have found over the years that people equipped with the knowledge and information about their cars have a much better experience owning and operating their cars. By 'better experience' we mean they spend less money, spend less time in the repair shop and have an overall better time owning their cars. In addition to this benefit we have found that properly maintained cars last longer, plain and simple, you save money. A car is almost never an investment, so the less you have to spend while you own it, the better off you will be in the end.

During a good part of our seminars we allow the guests to somewhat lead the direction of our discussions. Depending on the age group, type of cars they own, new and old, people have different questions, and different needs. Because our seminars are not read from a book or notes the topics of discussion can vary from tires to tune ups and everywhere in between.

We encourage folks to bring their questions and problems to the classes. We are fully able and willing to try to answer any and all questions - that's what it's all about, getting your questions answered, honestly.

Your instructor, Don Kerr, is a fully certified ASE Master Technician, former Md state inspector of more than 10 years and a former Md Emissions Master Repair Inspector. He has worked with Pat Goss of MotorWeek TV, been a special guest with him on his radio show, hosted his own radio show out of Annapolis Md and currently works in a high end repair shop. He has been involved with teaching classes for the last 12 years and greatly enjoys helping consumers navigate the process of owning and maintaining their cars.
